The African nation of Zambia is reeling under the grip of a cholera epidemic. People are spending time worrying about their lives in the palm of their hands.
They are facing an unprecedented disaster. About 600 people have lost their lives since October 2023 till now due to cholera in this small country. More than 15 thousand people are caught in the trap of epidemic. 9 out of 10 provinces of the country are affected by cholera. They are struggling with health crisis like never before. The 'BBC' article stated that 3.5 tonnes of humanitarian aid including equipment such as water purification machines, anti-cholera drugs and ORS sachets to prevent dehydration were sent. 🚰🌾👥
