In a bold move following the recent electoral defeat, YSRCP leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has initiated significant changes within the party. The decision marks the beginning of a major reshuffle aimed at revitalizing the partyâs structure and leadership.
As part of the overhaul, three new state general secretaries have been appointed: Gadikota Srikanth Reddy (Rayachoti), Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy (Chandragiri), and Vempalli Satish Reddy (Pulivendula). These leaders are expected to play a key role in coordinating party activities across various districts in Andhra Pradesh.
Additionally, Jagan has made strategic appointments across other key positions within the party. Jakkampudi Raja has been named the President of the YSRCP Youth Wing, while MLC Ramesh Yadav takes over as the President of the YSRCP BC Cell. Sudhakar Babu has been appointed as the SC Cell President, Ganji Chiranjeevi as the President of the Weavers' Wing, and Panuganti Chaitanya as the President of the Student Wing.
The reshuffle also extends to district-level leadership. After Alla Naniâs resignation as YSRCP Eluru District President, former MLA Doolam Nageswara Rao has been given the responsibility. In light of recent controversies surrounding Duvvada Srinivasâs family, he has been relieved of his role as Tekkalil constituency in-charge, with senior leader Perada Tilak stepping into the role.
This extensive restructuring reflects Jaganâs strategy to strengthen the party ahead of future elections and address internal issues that may have contributed to the recent electoral performance.
