YSR Congress Party chief and former Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy received relief from the CBI Court as it granted permission for his foreign trip. Jagan, who is facing allegations in a disproportionate assets case, had filed a petition seeking permission to travel abroad. The CBI Court reviewed the petition on Tuesday and gave the green light with conditions.
Jagan filed the petition 15 days ago, requesting to attend his daughter's birthday celebrations in the UK from September 3rd to 25th. The court granted permission, instructing Jagan to provide his complete travel details, mobile number, and email information to the court and CBI before leaving. The court also allowed the issuance of a new passport with a validity of five years.
