In the run-up to the Visakhapatnam Local Authorities MLC elections, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, is making all-out efforts to secure the seat, leveraging their strong influence in the region. As part of this strategy, Jagan has intensified his focus on the election, holding meetings with key leaders and representatives.
Jagan has already met with ZPTC and MPTC members from five constituencies within the Greater Visakhapatnam region. Over the next two days, he plans to meet with leaders from the remaining constituencies to solidify the party’s position and ensure a robust campaign strategy. Due to these crucial meetings with local representatives, other party leaders and visitors have been advised not to visit Tadepalli to meet with Jagan during this period, as stated by the YSRCP central office.
Botsa Satyanarayana Nominates for MLC Seat 🗳️
The YSRCP has fielded former minister Botsa Satyanarayana as its candidate for the MLC election. Accompanied by his wife Jhansi and senior party leaders, Botsa filed his nomination at the Visakhapatnam Collectorate. Prominent figures such as former ministers Kanna Babu, Amarnath, MLC Narthu Rama Rao, and Chinna Sreenu were also present at the nomination event.
Botsa Satyanarayana expressed confidence in the YSRCP’s victory in the MLC election, highlighting the party's solid groundwork and support in the region. The YSRCP aims to maintain its dominance and secure another victory, reinforcing its influence in the Visakhapatnam area.
