Police are closely monitoring YCP leader Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy. Following court orders, he may be taken into custody today. The police have prepared for the arrest of the former Macherla MLA, who faces multiple charges, including the destruction of EVMs at the Palwai Gate polling station and three attempted murder cases. Pinnelli is currently staying at the residence of former minister Anil Kumar Yadav in Narasaraopet, where a large police presence has been deployed. Some officers are also in plain clothes to ensure he doesn't escape.
On the other hand, Pinnelli has secured anticipatory bail from the High Court, which has ordered not to arrest him until Thursday. However, the Supreme Court has issued orders preventing him from going to the counting center. This has led to heavy police deployment around his residence and a high alert in the Palnadu area. Shops have been shut down, and there is widespread speculation that Pinnelli might be arrested at any moment. The coalition coming into power in AP has also made it difficult for the former MLA. Arrest seems to be the only option, and there is intense anticipation about Pinnelli's future.
