World Bank Team Visits Amaravati for Key Meeting with CM Chandrababu Naidu 🌏


Amaravati, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, is being constructed using world-class standards and modern technology. Recently, a team of four representatives from the World Bank visited Amaravati for a two-day tour. The delegation included Raghu Keshavan, Senior Infrastructure Specialist, Gerald Paul Ollivier, Lead Transport Specialist, King Yun, Senior Urban Specialist, and Abedalirazak, South Asia Urban Practice Manager. During their three-day visit, the team met with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and other officials.

Key Discussions and Site Visits 🔍

The World Bank team held a crucial meeting with CM Chandrababu Naidu to discuss the ongoing development projects in Amaravati. The delegation also met with officials at the CRDA (Capital Region Development Authority) headquarters in Vijayawada to review the current status of the Amaravati project.

The officials briefed the World Bank representatives on various aspects of the project, including the CRDA's plans and progress. Following the meeting, the team conducted field visits to inspect the buildings under construction in Amaravati. On Sunday, they toured the city's infrastructure, including roads, the Kondaveeti Vagu Lift Irrigation Pump House, and educational institutions like VIT, SRM, and AIIMS.
