Woman arrested for posing as Railway cop in Telangana; fake ID, uniform seized

A 25-year-old woman was arrested by the Telangana Railway Police for allegedly being involved in fraudulent activities by impersonating a Sub-Inspector of the Railway Protection Force (RPF). The accused, identified as Jadala Malavika, was arrested from Narketpalli town in Telangana's Nalgonda district.

Police said that Malavika had been impersonating a railway police official for the past one year. She would travel from Nalgonda to Secunderabad on Panadu Express and present herself to passengers as a real Railways police inspector.

She also used a fake identity card to bolster her false claims, deceiving passengers, relatives, and villagers into believing she was employed as a Sub-Inspector in the RPF stationed at Secunderabad.

Recently, she exploited her fraudulent status by attending an International Women's Day event in Nalgonda, where she even received accolades. Notably, the accused managed to establish connections with notable individuals, such as the actor Sri Suman, through her fraudulent activities.
