Janvi Kapoor, who has been busy with multiple projects in Bollywood, is now focusing on the South Indian film industry. Currently, she is working on two major Telugu films and has plans to enter Kollywood as well. However, there are now doubts about whether her Tamil project will materialize.
Janvi Kapoor, daughter of the legendary Sridevi, made her Bollywood debut with much fanfare and has since been a topic of discussion for her potential entry into the South Indian film industry. After much anticipation, she is set to make her South debut with the movie Devara.
Even before the release of Devara, she has already given the green signal to act opposite Ram Charan in another big project. While Janvi is juggling her Bollywood commitments with these two major Telugu projects, she also planned to make a mark in Kollywood. She agreed to work in a Tamil film alongside superstar Suriya.
The film, a mythological project, was to be directed by Bollywood director Om Prakash Mehta. Suriya even participated in look tests for the movie in Mumbai. However, for reasons unknown, the makers have suddenly shelved the project, delaying Janvi’s Kollywood entry.
This unexpected turn of events has put Janvi’s aspirations to break into the Tamil film industry on hold for now.
