Will the New Government Rehabilitate Resigned Volunteers?

The issue of volunteers in Andhra Pradesh is creating waves. During the election period, many volunteers resigned, and now with a new government in place, they are protesting and demanding their positions back. The volunteer protests are occurring in various districts, including Nellore, Nandyal, and Srikakulam. Volunteers have approached officials with complaints and requests, seeking support from TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP leaders to be reinstated.

Some volunteers allege that they were forced to resign and have lodged complaints with the police, leading to cases against several individuals, including former minister Kodali Nani and others like Dukkipati Sashibhushan and Kurma Raju.

Despite previous criticisms, the opposition parties found the volunteer system crucial during the elections. The current Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu, and other coalition leaders had promised to continue the volunteer system if they came to power.

Now, the big question is whether the new government will show compassion and reinstate the resigned volunteers. Will they address the volunteers' concerns and bring them back to their duties? The decision from the government is awaited, and it will be interesting to see how they handle this pressing issue.
