Manobala Greatness Revealed by Actor Josh Ravi : Famous Tamil comedian, director and producer Manobala passed away today in Chennai. He is 69 years old. It seems that he has been suffering from liver related problems for the past two weeks and is undergoing treatment at Chennai Apollo Hospital. But today, as his illness worsened and he passed away, the entire Tamil film industry suddenly went into mourning.He seems to have acted in more than 700 films in his 35-year career. Manoba has wife Usha and son Harish. He started his career in the year 1979 with a film directed by Bharathiraja. As a friend of Kamala Haasan, he is said to have also worked as an assistant director under Bharti Raja. And lastly he acted in a Telugu movie called Waltheru Veeraiya.
