According to WABetaInfo, Meta's platform is developing this new feature, enabling users to generate photos reflecting their personality, interests, or mental state. By providing a photo description or prompt, users can soon create unique profile pictures, elevating user interaction with a better experience. By enabling AI-generated photos, WhatsApp allows users to be more creative without using their original photos, adding customized filters to profile photos while enhancing privacy.

This AI-based feature helps reduce the risks associated with sharing original photos online.
