🏛️ Budget meetings of Parliament have started. President Draupadi Murmu will address both Houses in the new Parliament building during the opening ceremony of the sessions. After that, the All Party will meet again at half past eleven.
While these are the last sessions of the current 17th Lok Sabha, the budget will be presented for the first time after the inauguration of the new Parliament building. With the Lok Sabha elections this year itself, the Center is introducing the interim budget in these meetings. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will introduce vote on account budget tomorrow.. Center is introducing 19 bills in this budget session.. The Privilege Committee of Rajya Sabha lifted the suspension of 11 members on Tuesday. On the other hand, the central government has made it clear to the floor leaders of the respective parties that they are ready to discuss every issue in the budget meetings.
📉 While the Modi government is preparing to present the final budget before the Lok Sabha elections, on the other hand, the opposition is making strategies to destabilize the Centre. The opposition will blame the Modi government on the hardships faced by farmers and workers due to unemployment, high prices and economic inequality. 📈
