Water war has started again in Telangana politics. Harish Rao's comments that the Telangana government has agreed to hand over the joint projects on the Krishna river to the KRMB have increased the political heat.
The Telangana government explained that such a proposal was received from the Centre.. but they did not agree to it. Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy said that they are making unnecessary fuss about it.
Even though the government has given an explanation, BR continues to voice its argument on this issue. Former Minister Niranjan Reddy said that Telangana will be severely unfair if KRMB conducts joint projects. He questioned why the state government agreed to the conditions of the Centre.
On the other hand, BJP has given a counter to BRS in this matter. Former BJP MLA Raghunandan Rao said that KCR had signed the agreement related to Krishna River waters in the past.. Harish Rao was the Irrigation Minister then. 🤔🔍
