Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo', helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is one of the most-anticipated films of 2023. Ahead of the film's grand release, the makers had scheduled an audio launch on September 30. However, the production house, Seven Screen Studio, took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that the audio launch had been cancelled due to unprecedented demand for tickets. They also cleared the air saying that it wasn't canceled due to political pressure.
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Leo' will release in theatres on October 19. The film has garnered great buzz ever since the makers released the promo.
On September 26, fans of Thalapathy Vijay were in for a rude shock as Seven Screen Studio took to social media pages to inform them that the audio launch had been cancelled. The event was supposed to take place on September 30 at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. The stage work had begun and was progressing when the announcement was made.
The production house' post read, "Considering overflowing passes requests & safety constraints, we have decided not to conduct the Leo Audio Launch. In respect of the fans' wishes, we will keep you engaged with frequent updates. P.S. As many would imagine, this is not due to political pressure or any other reasons
