Alongside these stars, Shobana, Rajendra Prasad, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda, and Mrunal Thakur have also played significant parts. Recently, Vijay Deverakonda made interesting comments about his role in the film.
Vijay’s character in Kalki 2898 AD has a brief screen time, and some negative comments have been circulating about his role. Responding to these, Vijay said, "I watched Kalki. The movie felt very emotional. Indian cinema, especially Telugu cinema, has reached a new level. I did this role because of Nagi (Nag Ashwin) and Prabhas anna. It was a pleasure to appear as Arjun in the movie."
He added, "Don't see Vijay Deverakonda and Prabhas on screen, see me as Arjun and him in his character. We are playing roles in Nag Ashwin's universe. You could say Nagi considers me his lucky charm, having cast me in both Mahanati and Kalki, which are both exceptional films."
Ashwinidutt, one of the film's producers, hinted that Vijay’s role would be more significant in Kalki Part 2. Reacting to this, Vijay said, "If he said it, it must be true." These comments have gone viral, sparking excitement among fans.
