UPI services in Sri Lanka and Mauritius. Prime Minister Modi started 🌍 🇮🇳

UPI services, which have made money transfers extremely easy for Indians, have also been made available in Sri Lanka and Mauritius from Monday. Modi started with Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Mauritian Prime Minister Pravind Jagannath through video conference.

The Ministry of External Affairs has issued a statement to this effect. UPI services will make payments easier for Indians in Sri Lanka and Mauritius, the Ministry of External Affairs said. These services are available for tourists from Sri Lanka and Mauritius in India. The Ministry of External Affairs said that UPI services will facilitate digital payments and increase digital connectivity between the two countries. With the availability of UPI services, Mauritian banks have also been able to issue cards based on the Rupay payment system. Payments can be made through these in both countries. Recently the UPI payment system has been made available in France as well. India's NPCI has partnered with France's leading ecommerce and payments company Lyra to launch UPI services there. Eiffel Tower became the first merchant to accept payments with UPI. 🏰'
