After the Congress government came to power, the prestigious scheme was to provide free bus travel facility to women. This scheme is valid from 9th of this month. Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) MD VC Sajjanar said that to more effectively implement 'Free bus travel facility for women as part of the Mahalakshmi Guarantee Scheme', zero tickets are being issued to women from Friday. He asked every female passenger to take a zero ticket and cooperate with the organization. On Thursday evening, TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar held a virtual meeting with field level officials on the issue of zero tickets to women.
“Mahalakshmi- free bus travel facility for women recently introduced by the government is getting good response from women. This scheme is being implemented peacefully without any complaints. The organization has updated the software to implement the free bus travel facility scheme for women more efficiently. The software is being installed on Tim's machines. The company will issue zero tickets through the machines from Friday. Women passengers should carry Aadhaar, voter and other identity cards with them. Show them to the conductors for locality verification.. Mandatory zero tickets should be taken. This scheme, which has been made available to reduce the financial burden of poor people, should be used by women, girls, students and third genders. TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar suggested.👩🎓🎫
He said TSRTC has made all arrangements so that women passengers do not face any difficulties. Everyone is requested to cooperate with the organization for the effective implementation of the free travel facility. On this occasion RTC MD Sajjanar congratulated the TSRTC officials who updated the software for zero ticket in a very short time. TSRTC COO Dr Ravinder, Executive Director (Operations) Muni Shekhar, CTM Jeevan Prasad, CEIT Rajasekhar, IT ATM Rajasekhar and others participated in this meeting.👩👩🎓
