In a heart-wrenching incident, Chandrakant, the beloved actor from the popular TV serial "Trinayani," has taken his own life. This tragic event comes just days after his co-star Pavitra Jayaram lost her life in a road accident, adding to the sorrow within the industry.
Chandrakant, aged 40, was deeply affected by the accident in which Pavitra tragically passed away. The incident occurred when they were traveling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad, and their car met with an accident at Sheripalli in Mahabubnagar district. While Pavitra died on the spot, Chandrakant survived with injuries.
Overwhelmed by grief and struggling with mental health issues, Chandrakant hanged himself in his apartment in Alkapur, Manikonda, Hyderabad. His friends, concerned after he did not answer repeated phone calls, discovered his body when they went to check on him.
Despite having a wife and two children, Chandrakant had been living separately due to personal conflicts. The police, following a complaint from Chandrakant's father, Chenna Venkatesh, have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
