A significant train accident occurred in Jharkhand as the Howrah-Mumbai Mail derailed. According to railway officials, the incident happened when the train was moving from Rajkharsawan towards Badabambo. A goods train derailed at Chakradharpur, causing its wagons to spill over onto another track. The Howrah-Mumbai Mail, coming from behind on the same line, collided with these wagons.
All coaches of the Howrah-Mumbai Mail derailed, but it is reported that the driver of the Howrah Mail acted swiftly, preventing a major catastrophe. Thanks to the driver's quick thinking, no passengers were reported dead.
Interestingly, a similar incident occurred last month on the 20th in West Bengal, involving the Kanchanjunga Express, which resulted in the death of ten people. This new accident in Jharkhand is a grim reminder of the previous tragedy that happened just a month ago.
