Fatal accident in Chhattisgarh..

In a heart-wrenching incident in Chhattisgarh's Durg district, a devastating road accident claimed the lives of 14 individuals. Reports indicate that a bus carrying laborers plunged into the Lal Murum mine in the evening. At the time of the mishap, the bus was transporting over 30 passengers. According to police, the bus fell into the mine, resulting in the death of 14 people so far, while another 15 have been severely injured.

The accident occurred near Khapri village, within the jurisdiction of the Kumhari police station. The bus belonged to Kedia Distilleries, transporting employees to the plant. As the bus neared Khapri village, it lost control and fell into a 40-foot-deep mine. Local residents who noticed the accident immediately alerted the police, who rushed to the site and initiated rescue operations. People were pulled out of the bus from the deep mine with the help of several ambulances and local volunteers. The injured were quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his grief over the bus accident in Durg, Chhattisgarh, calling it deeply distressing. He extended his deepest sympathies to those who lost their loved ones and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. PM Modi stated that the local administration, under state government supervision, is fully engaged in providing all necessary assistance to the victims.
