The discount offer given by the Telangana government on pending traffic challans will end at midnight today. In this background, the government has taken a key decision. A decision has been taken to extend the deadline of traffic challans till 31st of this month. The deadline is approaching.. As the challan payments are high, the government has taken a decision to extend the date. Meanwhile, the government has given concession to clear pending challans from 26th of last month. Officials say that while there are 3.59 crore pending challans across the state, more than one crore challans have been cleared. So far the total revenue of 113 crores has come to the government. Most 66.57 lakh challans were cleared under Hyderabad and Rachakonda Commissionerates.
These challans have been enabled to be paid online through Meesewa as well as UPI. This huge discount offer will end in a few hours. But due to the server problem, the challans could not be generated. In this background, Revanth Sarkar extended the deadline.
The Telangana government has announced a huge discount of 90 percent on pending challans for RTC buses and carts, 80 percent on bikes, 60 percent on four-wheelers, autos, and 50 percent on trucks and other heavy vehicles.✨🚨
