In the ongoing mini auction for Indian Premier League season-17, two players fetched Rs. More than 20 crores were sold. Also, three players got 11+ crores. But let's have a look at the players who fetched the highest amount in the auction so far.
1- Mitchell Starc: Australian left arm pacer Mitchell Starc has become the most awarded player in the history of IPL. Starc was bought by the KKR franchise for Rs 24.75 crores and created a new history.
2- Pat Cummins: Australian team captain Pat Cummins paid Rs.20.50 crores. Sunrisers bought the Hyderabad franchise. This makes it the 2nd most expensive bidding in IPL history.
3- Darryl Mitchell: New Zealand middle order batsman Darryl Mitchell was bought by the CSK franchise for Rs. Bought for 14 crores.
4- Harshal Patel: Team India pacer Harshal Patel was auctioned for Rs.11.75 crore this time. The former RCB pacer was bought by the Punjab Kings franchise this time.
5- Alzari Joseph: West Indies fast bowler Alzari Joseph was bought by RCB for Rs.11.50 crores.
