In honor of the legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao's birthday, Directors' Day is celebrated every year on May 4th. This year, the Directors' Association, with its newly formed executive committee, is hosting a grand celebration of Directors' Day on May 19th at LB Stadium from 6 PM onwards.
The event will feature numerous directors performing skits, dances, and other exciting performances. Several actors and actresses are also expected to attend the event. As part of the preparations, members of the Directors' Association personally invited several film industry personalities to the celebration.
In a noteworthy moment, prominent directors Veerashankar, Anil Ravipudi, Harish Shankar, and Vasishta met with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. They honored him with a shawl and bouquet, extending a formal invitation to the event. Interestingly, renowned filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma (RGV) also accompanied them, which sparked significant interest. RGV, who usually stays away from such association activities, surprised everyone by personally inviting CM Revanth Reddy.
Previously, RGV had publicly praised Revanth Reddy through multiple tweets. The photo of CM Revanth Reddy with RGV has since gone viral on social media. It is now anticipated that both RGV and CM Revanth Reddy will participate in the Directors' Day event.
