Far from Mahesh Babu remakes...
Mahesh Babu, who continues to be one of the top heroes of Tollywood, has been staying away from remake movies since the beginning of his career. So far, Mahesh Babu has acted in 28 films as a hero. It is noteworthy that there is not a single remake movie in it. When Mahesh Babu made his debut as a hero, he made a rule that he should not do remake films. He is still following that rule strictly.
In the past, Mahesh Babu got a chance to remake Dalapati Vijay's Katthi movie in Telugu. Also some tried to remake the Bollywood movie Three Idiots with Mahesh Babu in Telugu. But Mahesh Babu rejected Kaththi and Three Idiots due to the rule of remake movies. Earlier, Mahesh Babu revealed that he is staying away from remakes due to the fear of comparisons.
Vijay Devarakonda too...
Along with Mahesh Babu, another star hero Vijay Devarakonda has not acted in a remake movie till now. Vijay Devarakonda, who became a hero with Pellichoopulu, has been doing all straight films. Malayalam hero Dulquer Salmaan made his debut as a hero with the movie Second Show which was released in 2012. So far he has done more than 45 films as a hero. There is not a single remake movie in this. Many Malayalam films in which he acted as the hero have been remade in other languages. But Dulquer did not remake the films of other heroes. He is progressing in his career by doing films with straight stories. He flatly rejected the chances of remakes.
Rakshit Shetty...
Kannada hero Rakshit Shetty of Saptha Sagara Dhage Yellow fame has also made a policy that he should not act in remake movies. He did all straight films in his 14-year career. Nikhil remakes Rakshit Shetty starrer Kirik Party in Telugu.
Tollywood hero Nithin also does not show much interest in remake movies. He remade the successful Bollywood movie Andhadhun into Telugu under the title Maestro. This is the only remake movie in Nitin's career. This movie also flopped at the box office.
