🌟 Pandit Laxman Bhat Tailang from Jaipur dedicated his entire life to the practice of music. Along with his son Ravi Shankar, he also taught music lessons to his daughters Shobha, Usha, Nisha, Madhu, Poonam and Arthi. He trained many of his children as masters in various genres.
🎓 Pandit Tailang worked in Banasthali Vidyapeeth from 1950 to 1992. He then worked as a music lecturer at the Rajasthan Music Institute, Jaipur from 1991 to 1994. In 1985, he founded a music center named 'Rasamanjari' in Jaipur. Music education was provided free of cost to many there. In 2001, he established the 'International Dhrupad-Dham Trust' in Jaipur-Dham and continued as its Director. Many people have been helped through this trust. On the occasion of January 26, the central government has announced Padma awards to those who have rendered outstanding services in various fields. Pandit Tailang has been awarded Padma Shri by the central government. However, many celebrities along with his fans are saddened by his death without receiving this award. 🎉🎖️🎵
