🚄🌉🌍 The Chenab Railway Bridge is making Pakistan and China an eyesore..🚄

This steel arch bridge is a blast proof bridge. Moreover, it can withstand earthquakes. It paves the way for high speed trains in the Kashmir valley. It is described as the highest railway bridge in the world. Let's know the complete details now.🌉🌍

Designed to last for 120 years🌉🌍

The length of this bridge built on river Chenab is 1.315 km. The bridge is 359 meters above the river level. The bridge is capable of withstanding earthquakes measuring 8 on the Richter scale. The bridge can withstand winds of up to 260 km per hour. It is 35 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The bridge built over the Shupai River in China is 275 meters high. The height of the Chenab Railway Bridge from the river bed is 359 meters. The bridge is designed to last for 120 years. It is an easy travel from Jammu to Kashmir Valley. Kashmir valley will increase connectivity.🌉🌍

As an earthquake resistant zone

Trains can run at a speed of 100 to 120 km per hour on this bridge. Its main arch span is 467 meters. It is said to be the longest span arch bridge of Indian Railways. Although the span of this bridge is in seismic zone 4, it is designed for seismic zone five. That means the bridge is very safe even if there is an earthquake. It can easily withstand an earthquake measuring eight on the Richter scale.

World class welding🌉🌍

There are total 18 pillars in the construction of Chenab Railway Bridge. Its tallest concrete pillar is 49.343 meters and steel pillar is 130 meters high. More than 27 thousand tons of steel were used for its manufacture. Significantly, the bridge was designed for blast load with the help of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). This means that any blast will not have any effect on this bridge. World class welding is used to connect it.🌉🌍

Hence the tension between China and Pakistan

The Chenab Bridge, which is ready after a long wait, has created a stir in Pakistan and China. More than that, the Kashmir Valley will be directly connected to other parts of India through this bridge. It will be much easier for the Indian Army to reach far-flung borders. Avoiding difficulties on the road, the army, logistics can reach directly to confront the enemy. Trade in the Kashmir Valley from all over the country also increased. Ordinary tourists can easily reach Bhutala Swarga.🌉🌍

Actually one part of this bridge connecting Jammu and Kashmir is in Reasi.. the other part is in Bakkal (Udhampur). The construction of this bridge, which is being built at a cost of Rs.28 thousand crores, was started in 2004 and it is targeted to be completed in 2009. However, work at the project site had to be halted several times due to security concerns.
