🗻 Srinagar-Jammu national highway Ramban District Mehr area on Friday, landslides and stones fell on the road and traffic was diverted.
That way was closed. Efforts are being made to open the highway soon.
🌧️ Due to rain and snowfall on November 10, the weather condition here has worsened. The authorities of Kupwara administration have issued warning for many areas. People are advised not to go to these areas until the weather improves. The Meteorological Department (Met) has predicted that the rainfall will decrease gradually.
❄️ In Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul-Spiti too, white snow covered the roads due to fresh snowfall. Vehicular traffic has come to a standstill due to heavy snow. The white tiles on the surrounding mountains look very beautiful and attractive.
🏞️ Heavy snowfall and intermittent rains inundated the plains in the upper reaches of Kashmir including Gulmarg. Many photos and videos related to the snowfall are also doing the rounds on social media.
