In the 2023 tournament, a match was played between RCB vs Lucknow Supergiants. In which the hosts Lucknow had to face defeat.
Earlier in the match, there was an on-field altercation between Lucknow fast bowler Naveen Ul Haq and Virat Kohli. But after this match, the argument shifted towards Gautam Gambhir.
Gambhir told ANI Podcast with Smita Prakash, “As a mentor, I have a different belief. None more so than my players. During the match, I have no right to interfere. But if someone argues with my player after the match, I have the right to defend him. 💬🏏🗣️
It is known that some changes have taken place before IPL 2024. In that the fight between Naveen and Kohli ended. It is also known that Gautam Gambhir left Lucknow Supergiants after that.
