Prime Minister Modi visited Varanasi on Friday and spent around Rs. 13,000 crore worth of various development programs were inaugurated and foundation stones were laid. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi interacted with the women beneficiaries who were given Gir cows. In a video shared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he is seen talking to many women. He wrote on social media site 'X'.. 'Women empowerment is the top priority of our government. It was very satisfying to hear from the mothers and sisters of Baba Vishwanath city that their lives have changed a lot after getting the Gir cow,” he said. Prime Minister Modi said in a program during his visit to Varanasi.. I went to Banas Dairy Plant. There I had the opportunity to talk to many of the sisters who were engaged in cattle rearing. We gave indigenous breed Gir cows to the sisters of these farmer families 2-3 years ago. Information about improved breed of indigenous cows in Purvanchal was provided.
