As a result, Raichur Collector has issued orders to stop vehicular traffic for 45 days from 5 am on 17th January. Motorists traveling from Raichur in Karnataka to Hyderabad in Telangana have been asked to observe the restrictions.
The authorities will stop the traffic from the Krishna bridge built on the Krishna river on the state border of Krishna mandal of Narayanapet district. Officials have decided to repair National Highway-167 going over Krishna Bridge. As a result, Raichur Collector has issued orders to stop vehicular traffic for 45 days from 5 am on 17th January. Motorists traveling from Raichur in Karnataka to Hyderabad in Telangana have been asked to observe the restrictions.
Telangana Police has focused on alternative routes for the vehicles going on NH-167 in the background of the Krishna Bridge being repaired by the Karnataka government. Those going to Raichur took a diversion from Marikal sub station to Chittanoor, Amarchinta Jurala Dam, Gadwal to KT Doddi Raichur. For the awareness of the motorists, flexi will be set up in the area of Krishna, Maktal and Marikal police station.
