Team India Flies to USA in Batches for T20 World Cup!

🏏 As the prestigious 9th T20 World Cup gears up to start on June 1st, Team India's preparation takes a unique turn. Due to the ongoing IPL season in India, the Indian cricket team will be traveling to the USA, the venue for the World Cup, in two separate batches. This strategic move ensures that the players don't miss their crucial IPL matches.

The main squad consists of 15 players, with an additional four reserved as backup. India's first match is on June 5, but all eyes are on the high-voltage match against Pakistan scheduled for June 9. Given the IPL playoffs scenario, players from teams that do not make it to the playoffs will head to the USA first.

This batch includes prominent players from Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore, teams that have already been knocked out of the playoff race. Stars like Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav from Mumbai Indians, and Virat Kohli, Mohammed Siraj from RCB are set to depart shortly. This phased travel plan will help players manage their workload and ensure they are in peak condition for the World Cup.
