TDP's Unbeatable Constituencies in Andhra Pradesh

🌟 Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is a sensation in Indian politics. N.T. Rama Rao brought TDP to power within just 9 months of its formation. Since its inception in 1983, TDP has ruled Andhra Pradesh five times and has been in the opposition four times. Over the past 42 years, TDP has left a significant mark on both united Andhra Pradesh and the new Andhra Pradesh. Let's explore the constituencies where TDP has never won. 🚀

Pulivendula: Pulivendula in Kadapa district is a stronghold of the YS family. Before YS Rajasekhara Reddy's death, it was under Congress's control. Post his demise, YSRCP has been winning consecutively. TDP has never won here from 1978 to 2019.

Erragondapalem: Erragondapalem in Prakasam district, an SC reserved constituency, has never seen a TDP win. Established in 1955, it existed till 1972, then re-emerged in 2009 as an SC reserved segment.

Other Notable Constituencies: In the past 20 years, TDP has not won in constituencies like Paderu, Kurupam, and Bobbili in North Andhra; Prattipadu, Kothapeta, Jaggampeta, and Rampachodavaram in East Godavari; Tadepalligudem in West Godavari; Pamarru, Tiruvuru, and Vijayawada West in Krishna district.

Guntur and Rayalaseema: In Guntur, TDP has struggled in Bapatla, Guntur East, Narasaraopet, Macherla, Santhanuthalapadu, Kandukur, Atmakur, and Giddalur. In Rayalaseema, constituencies like Badvel, Kadapa, Kodur, Jammalamadugu, Mydukur, Allagadda, Nandikotkur, Kurnool, Panyam, Nandyal, Aluru, Pileru, Chandragiri, and Gangadhara Nellore have been tough grounds for TDP.

Post-Reorganization Constituencies: After the reorganization, Rampachodavaram, Srisailam, Rajam, and Puthalapattu in Chittoor district, along with Nellore City and Nellore Rural, have never seen a TDP victory.

Special Cases: In Kodumur, TDP won only in 1985. In Vijayawada West, TDP won only in the 1983 elections. BJP's Sujana Chowdary is contesting from Vijayawada West in the 2024 elections, making it less likely for TDP to secure this seat.
