Actor Surya recently shared his inspiring journey, stating, "Our mind is like a steering wheel. It's our responsibility to steer it towards our goal. During my school and college days, I achieved nothing significant. After completing my studies, I worked in a garment company for a salary of ₹1200 per month. But I didn't like the job and quit after nearly three months. That was when I took a U-turn in my life and decided to become an actor. Even five days before my first shoot, I couldn't believe I was becoming an actor. I made my debut with the film 'Nerrukku Ner,' produced by Mani Ratnam, starring Vijay as the hero. The film was a huge success. Seeing the audience's love and appreciation, I felt worthy as an actor and decided to work hard with discipline. Today, I have reached this level and received your love and support."
Surya also mentioned his connection with "Jai Bhim" director T.J. Gnanavel, who started as a journalist and became a friend. Gnanavel helps underprivileged students, and together they founded the Agaram Foundation. Surya explained that "Agaram" means the first letter, symbolizing the start of something new.
