Riding on this success, the makers have decided to thrill fans with a sequel named "Premalu 2". The announcement came via X, where the team released the sequel’s title along with a captivating caption, promising the biggest romantic comedy blockbuster Malayalam cinema will see in 2025. The sequel will continue to be directed by Girish ED, who aims to charm the audience once again with the cute love story of Naslen and Mamita. The first movie ended on a poignant note with the hero Sachin headed to the UK, as his love, Reenu Ray, leaves him with a kiss on his forehead promising to continue their long-distance relationship.
