Kollywood star Suriya is on a roll with back-to-back projects! Even before the release of "Kanguva," Suriya has given the green light to his next project, titled "Suriya 44," directed by star filmmaker Karthik Subbaraju. The film features Bollywood beauty Pooja Hegde as the leading lady.
Reports suggest that the first schedule, including action sequences and songs featuring Suriya and Pooja Hegde, was shot in Port Blair, Andaman. Now, a new exciting update has caught everyone’s attention: senior actress Shriya Saran is set to dazzle in a special song in the movie. The makers are planning to shoot this special number in Ooty, while the film’s current schedule is ongoing in the Idukki region.
The movie also features popular Malayalam actor Joju George in a significant role. Santosh Narayanan is composing the music and background score for this period war and love drama. With Thiru, who is known for his work in films like "24" and "Petta," handling the cinematography, "Suriya 44" promises to be a visual treat. Produced under Suriya’s home banner 2D Entertainment, the makers are planning to release the film as a Pongal 2025 treat!
