The makers of Prabhas' upcoming film 'Salaar' announced the film's new release date. Earlier, it was scheduled to hit theatres on September 28.
After 'Adipurush's' debacle, Prabhas's fans have been waiting with bated breath for the release of 'Salaar'. Helmed by Prashanth Neel of 'KGF' fame, the film is tipped to be an action thriller about a violent man. Earlier, the makers announced that the film would release on September 28. However, it was postponed as the makers decided to work on the film's post-production. On September 29, Hombale Films, the production house has finally announced the film's new release date.
On September 29, Hombale Films took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the new release date. They dropped a new poster and wrote, "Coming bloddy soon! SalaarCeaseFire Worldwide Release on Dec 22, 2023 (sic)."
'Salaar' will clash with Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' in theatres later this year during the Christmas weekend. This means, those films that had announced their release dates much earlier will now have to be re-scheduled. We will have to wait and see how the exhibitors would react to this clash.
