🛣️ This accident insurance will be applicable to RTC employees who die prematurely or become permanently disabled in road accidents.
All this will be provided under the UBI Super Salary Saving Account accident insurance of Rs. Also insurance up to Rs.12 lakh is applicable through Rupay card. But for this, RTC company will provide accident insurance up to Rs.1.12 crores to the affected families with the help of UBI without paying any premium. The increased risk insurance will come into effect from February 1.
🤔 TSRTC MD VC Sajjan said that increasing the accident insurance up to Rs.1.12 crore without paying any premium is a good thing. He thanked the UBI officials for agreeing to increase the accident insurance. Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar welcomed the increase in accident insurance and felt that it would greatly benefit the staff. He said that under UBI Super Salary Saving Account, Rs.40 lakh has been given to the families of 12 personnel who died in road accidents. Sajjanar reminded that the organization gives high priority to the welfare of employees. 🙏✨
