Rat bites in girls' Gurukula's school.

On Monday night (August 28), several female students were bitten by rats at the Social Welfare Gurukula Girls' School in Domakonda, Kamareddy district, Telangana state. As a result, the girls suffered minor injuries.

The injured girls were taken to Domakonda CHC on Tuesday where doctors examined them and administered injections.

Many female students are expressing concern that rats are roaming around in their teacher's school at night and are biting their legs and hands while they are sleeping. Officials are appealing to respond and remove the menace of rats. But the situation is almost the same in many gurukula schools in the state. Without proper water facilities, students are struggling with limited facilities. Toilets, dormitories and classrooms are dirty. The parents of the students are begging the authorities to respond to the government and improve the condition of gurukula schools.
