Rashmika Mandanna Learns Marathi for Her Role in "Chhava" 🎬


Pan-India actress Rashmika Mandanna is currently one of the busiest stars in the film industry, with fans across the country thanks to her work in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films. Her Bollywood career is also on the rise, and she is now taking on a new challenge for her upcoming film "Chhava," where she stars alongside Vicky Kaushal.

Preparing for Her Role

In "Chhava," Rashmika plays the role of Yesubai, the wife of the Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the legendary Shivaji. Since the film, although primarily in Hindi, includes several dialogues in Marathi, Rashmika has taken it upon herself to learn the language. She is committed to delivering her lines authentically and will be dubbing for her character herself. To achieve this, Rashmika underwent four weeks of intensive Marathi language training.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, "Chhava" is a biographical film about the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, and Rashmika’s dedication to learning Marathi reflects her commitment to bringing her character to life with authenticity.
