After a temporary halt due to financial issues, the film's production has resumed in Mumbai. This film is a sequel to the blockbuster hit 'iSmart Shankar' and promises more action and drama. Bollywood heavyweight Sanjay Dutt is also set to appear in a pivotal role in this movie.
In the midst of his busy schedule, Ram is also rumored to be preparing for a web series on Netflix, details of which are still under wraps. Furthermore, discussions with director Harish Shankar for another movie project have been hinted at, showing Ram's dedication to reclaiming his place in Telugu cinema after a series of flops post-'iSmart Shankar'. Despite his recent setbacks, including the films 'Red', 'The Warrior', and 'Skanda' which did not meet audience expectations, Ram is hopeful of a turnaround with 'Double iSmart', especially as Puri Jagannadh is also looking to bounce back from his previous project 'Liger', which was a commercial failure.
