The fight between Karimnagar Assembly Constituency MLAs has now turned into a Munnoor community fight.
Purumalla Srinivas, who has already served as ZPTC sarpanch of Karimnagar rural mandal, is standing in the ring. In Karimnagar, which was once a stronghold of Veluma community, Munnuru Kapula has increased in power. That is why the three major parties have allotted their tickets to three Munnuru Kapus. There are three lakh and forty thousand voters in Karimnagar Assembly Constituency, in which the majority of voters are Munnoor Kapulu and Muslim voters. While the Muslim voters are almost sixty thousand and above, the votes of Munnuru Kapula are also at the same level here and there. Now these two social class votes will be crucial for the major parties. Along with Karimnagar town, Munnuru votes are also high in rural villages.
