Preparations Complete for Vote Counting, Says Chief Election Officer

🚨 Andhra Pradesh Chief Election Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena announced that all arrangements for vote counting have been completed. The final results for all constituencies will be announced between 8 PM and 9 PM on June 4. Meena stated that the counting process for 111 out of 175 constituencies will be completed by 2 PM, for 61 constituencies by 4 PM, and for the remaining three constituencies by 6 PM.

📊 Senior Deputy Election Commissioner Nithesh Vyas reviewed the state's vote counting arrangements via video conference from the Nirvachan Sadan in Delhi.

🛡️ Meena assured that Section 144 will be enforced in problematic districts to prevent any untoward incidents on counting day, and senior police officers will be deployed. Special attention will be given to districts that experienced violence post-polling. He mentioned that he toured Palnadu district with the state DGP to assess the situation and alert officials.

🔢 In the 111 constituencies, there will be 20 rounds of counting, 21 to 24 rounds in 61 constituencies, and over 25 rounds in the remaining three constituencies.
