Chennai-based Srivaru Motors has launched its latest premium electric motorcycle, the Prana 2.0 model, on August 22. Priced at ₹2,55,150 (ex-showroom, Chennai), this new model can travel up to 150 kilometers on a single charge. Alongside this, Srivaru Motors has also introduced the Prana Elite, which comes with an impressive range of 250 kilometers on a single charge and is priced at ₹3,20,250 (ex-showroom, Chennai).
Srivaru Motors initially introduced the Prana electric motorcycle in 2021 and has now updated its offerings with these new versions. The company's manufacturing plant is located near Sulur in Coimbatore, where they plan to produce around 2,000 bikes per month. Srivaru Motors' founder and CEO, Mohanraj Ramaswamy, stated that the company aims to sell 10,000 units. Additionally, they are also planning to launch electric scooters under the brand name "Alive" soon.
These new Prana electric bikes offer a promising solution for those seeking long-range, eco-friendly transportation options, making them a significant addition to the growing electric vehicle market in India.
