Power cuts scheduled in Hyderabad from Jan 17 to Feb 10 – check outage schedule

Power officials have been asked to finish maintenance work in 15 minutes and two hours to minimize inconvenience to the residents of the city.

Hyderabad will face power cuts from Wednesday, January 17 to February 10 due to maintenance and repair works, Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) announced.The company plans to face high demand for power in the summer by scheduling maintenance and repair works of power lines and sub-stations on rotation basis in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits. Field level officials have been asked to finish maintenance work in 15 minutes and two hours from January 17 to February 10, to minimize inconvenience to the residents of the city. The works will not be carried out on Sundays and festivals.TSSPDCL also urged residents in areas where the works have to be carried out to cooperate with the electricity department.
