Popular Restaurants in Hyderabad Caught with Unsafe Practices!

Eating out has become the norm with the rise of online food delivery apps. Many people prefer ordering from famous restaurants, trusting them to provide quality food. But recent inspections by Food Safety Officers in Hyderabad have revealed a shocking reality: even renowned restaurants are compromising on food safety. Let's dive into the details and uncover the truth about these eateries.

🥘 Raayalaseema Ruchulu:

Known for its spicy dishes, Raayalaseema Ruchulu underwent a raid on May 18. The officers found insect-infested flour, expired tamarind, and expired milk being used. The kitchen was far from clean, raising serious health concerns.

🥘 Shah Ghouse:

Another popular restaurant, Shah Ghouse, was inspected on the same day. The authorities discovered substandard ingredients and a lack of basic hygiene. Stagnant water and unlabeled stored food were also found, making it a health hazard.

🥘 Kamat Hotel:

Kamat Hotel, a long-established name, wasn't spared either. During the raid, unlabelled tea powder and noodles worth ₹25,000 were seized. The kitchen staff were found without caps and gloves, indicating poor hygiene practices.

🥘 Kritunga:

On May 20, Kritunga was raided, and expired methi malai paste was found. Unlabelled paneer, non-veg paste, and citric acid were also seized. The kitchen was unclean, and the staff didn’t follow basic hygiene norms.

🥘 KFC:

Even KFC faced a raid on May 21. The authorities didn't find the original FSSAI license, and the stored food items were found to be used unsafely.

🍽️ Why it Matters:

These findings highlight the importance of food safety and hygiene. As customers, we trust these restaurants to provide safe and quality food, but these incidents reveal a stark contrast. Always be cautious and choose wisely where you eat.
