In OG, the character name OG stands for "Ojas Gambhir." "Ojas" is the name of Pawan's character's mentor, a Japanese individual, while "Gambhir" is Pawan’s character’s name. So, OG is a combination of these names - "Ojas Gambhir." He also mentioned that the initials could still resonate with "Original Gangster" for fans, and that's why they chose this name. Pawan's fans have taken this revelation by storm on social media.
