All the leaders pose for a photo as the COP28 World Climate Action Summit begins. Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with various world leaders including Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and European Union President Ursula van der Leyen.
British King Charles III also attended the event. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi was welcomed by UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres on the sidelines of the 28th edition of the Climate Change Conference.
Officials said that Prime Minister Modi, who will be visiting Dubai for about 21 hours, will hold seven bilateral meetings, deliver four speeches and participate in two special events on climate events. The World Climate Action Summit is the high-level segment of the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). 🌐
