🌧️ Karnataka Water Conservation Committee has called a bandh in Bangalore today. More than 100 organizations have expressed their support for this bandh.
Protests are pouring in as all the opposition parties support the bandh. Bangalore bandh will continue from 6 am to 6 pm.
👥 I heard that our Chief Minister Siddaramaiah also said like the previous Chief Ministers that the issue can be temporarily resolved through amicable talks with the Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu. I am appealing to the Honorable Chief Minister to support the current drought-water crisis. I request all party leaders to come together to understand the situation in Karnataka. Also irrigate the crops for Tamilnadu farmers but first solve our drinking water crisis.. solve this problem as soon as possible. I hope that the struggle will be won, along with the resolution of the Krishna River – Mahadayi River and Kalasa Banduri disputes in North Karnataka, the sufferings of the people will end.
