This mode allows you to use the same WhatsApp account on multiple devices. Chats, contacts and groups are also synchronized across devices. Up to five devices can be linked to your WhatsApp account.
Set it up like this..
The setup process is similar to the function of existing linked devices. But this WhatsApp companion mode is slightly different from that process as it is specially designed for smartphones. This feature was officially released on April 25, 2023.
Open WhatsApp on your main phone.
Click on overflow menu.
Click on Linked Devices.
After that click on green link a device button.
A QR code will be displayed on your phone.
Apart from that, you can also click on the link with phone number in the option. For that, open WhatsApp web on your secondary phone and enter your phone number. Then you will get one time pass code. If you enter it, your contacts will be synchronized on the second phone as well.
Same WhatsApp in five phones..
You can view messages from two (or more) phones. With Companion Mode, you can use WhatsApp on up to five phones simultaneously. What's special here is that WhatsApp works on your secondary phone even without a SIM card. You can enjoy many features of WhatsApp on your secondary phone like sending and receiving messages, images, videos. You can also make and receive WhatsApp voice and video calls from your secondary phone.
