Light rains are expected in parts of Kakinada, Konaseema, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Bapatla, Palnadu, Prakasam, Nandyal, and Kurnool districts.
🌊 With continuous rains for four days, streams and canals are overflowing, and tanks are filling up in both states. Floodwaters are surging into barrages, with the Godavari river's flood level reaching 48 feet near Bhadrachalam, triggering a second warning alert. Officials predict the flood intensity will increase further, with Polavaram downstream receiving 11.31 lakh cusecs of floodwater.
