🌧️ The Telugu states are experiencing relentless rains with no signs of stopping. The Bay of Bengal is seeing continuous low-pressure formations, leading to prolonged rainfall. The weather department predicts heavy to very heavy rains for the next two days in the Telugu states.

🌩️ In Telangana, districts like Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, and Peddapalli are likely to witness moderate to heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning. The weather department has issued warnings for strong winds and thunderstorms.

🌧️ Andhra Pradesh is also set to experience heavy rains. The Disaster Management Authority reports light to moderate showers in Manyam, Alluri, and Eluru districts on Friday. Light rains are expected in parts of Kakinada, Konaseema, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Bapatla, Palnadu, Prakasam, Nandyal, and Kurnool districts.

🌊 With continuous rains for four days, streams and canals are overflowing, and tanks are filling up in both states. Floodwaters are surging into barrages, with the Godavari river's flood level reaching 48 feet near Bhadrachalam, triggering a second warning alert. Officials predict the flood intensity will increase further, with Polavaram downstream receiving 11.31 lakh cusecs of floodwater.
